Overview

Kingfisher Innovations is a custom fabrication company based in southwest Austin that is looking for new fabricators. This entry-level position involves building products out of various types of plastic, with minimal experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Deburr or prepare parts for welding or QC inspection.
  • Hot air tack pieces and use filler rod to weld plastic pieces together.
  • Use solvent bonding for certain plastics with PVC or acrylic solvent.

Requirements

  • Experience with power tools (router, table saw, jig saw, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret shop drawings.
  • Building to a dimensioned drawing within listed tolerance.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
