Overview

Tower Eight Staffing Solutions is hiring an experienced Copper Pipefitter for an active commercial construction project in the Tampa Bay area. The position requires strong experience in running, fitting, and brazing copper piping, and candidates must be comfortable working independently.

Responsibilities

  • Measure, cut, fit, and install copper piping
  • Run copper pipe according to plans and specifications
  • Braze copper pipe and fittings
  • Properly prepare, clean, fit, and join copper piping
  • Install pipe hangers, supports, and brackets
  • Lay out piping runs and determine proper hanger locations
  • Read and understand construction drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts
  • Use levels and measuring tools to ensure proper pipe alignment
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Work from ladders and lifts as required
  • Follow all jobsite and OSHA safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements

  • Previous commercial copper pipefitting experience required
  • Must have strong brazing experience
  • Must be experienced in running copper pipe and installing hangers
  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and install copper piping
  • Must have the proper pipefitting hand tools
  • Must be dependable and able to report to work on time
  • Reliable transportation to the jobsite
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Must be able to work safely on an active commercial construction site
