Overview

Stellar Energy is a provider of turnkey liquid-to-chip cooling solutions for data centers and industrial manufacturing. The 1st Class Welder position involves performing various welding functions on structural plate and pipe, with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Understand job specific WPS/PQRs and set up machines for performance in all positions.
  • Analyze blueprints for welding insignia and apply them to assemble components.
  • Identify, measure, hand dress, cut, and fit prepare metal surfaces for welding.
  • Perform visual observation of pre- and post-welded surfaces and interpret job requirements.
  • Repair insufficient welds efficiently.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and health regulations while completing daily work assignments.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience welding large industrial pipe.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Experience in threading, grinding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, gas arc cutting.
  • Fluent in understanding job specific WPS/PQRs.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and wear protective gear for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
  • Good physical condition; able to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.

Additional Information

  • This position is full-time and works Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Travel is primarily not required except for local travel during the business day.
  • This position operates out of a fabrication facility in Jacksonville, FL.
