Overview

West Star Aviation is a rapidly growing maintenance repair organization committed to customer service excellence and employee growth. The Sheet Metal Technician III role involves performing various sheet metal operations and requires knowledge of turbine aircraft structures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe and associated components.
  • Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
  • Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling when required.
  • Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases using basic computer skills.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Complete any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant License preferred.
  • Valid driver's license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.
  • Self-motivated team players who can perform under deadlines and time constraints.
  • Reliable transportation to work and attendance as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments.
