Overview

EZARC, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Structural Steel Ironworker for the TSMC project site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role involves erecting structural steel components and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on the job site.

Responsibilities

• Erect columns, beams, joists, and bracing using cranes, rigging, and hand tools.
• Connect, align, and plumb members within AISC tolerances.
• Install metal decking, joists, bridging, and other support members.
• Bolt connections to the specified method.
• Weld steel components per drawings and project specifications.
• Rig loads and perform hoisting operations safely.
• Signal crane operators using standard hand signals or radio.
• Guide loads into place safely and accurately.
• Use fall protection, harnesses, and PPE correctly at all times.
• Follow OSHA steel erection standards.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and pre-task plans.
• Read and work from erection drawings, shop drawings, and layout instructions.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and materials daily.
• Work with the Foreman, welders, and project team to meet schedule and quality standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of structural steel erection experience.
• Working knowledge of rigging, bolting, and erection methods.
• Ability to read erection and shop drawings.
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Phoenix area.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
• Rigging and/or signal person certification preferred.
• AWS structural welding certification preferred.
• Experience on large industrial or semiconductor projects preferred.

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekends as required.
