Overview

Nucor Steel Brandenburg is seeking a Product Metallurgist to join their state-of-the-art plate mill located in Brandenburg, KY. The company prioritizes safety and teamwork while producing world-class plate steel using innovative and sustainable technology.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure order entry is correct from a technical aspect.
  • Understand and maintain system and standards for order entry.
  • Provide technical support to customers and commercial teammates from inquiry to production to product feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or equivalent technical/engineering related steel production experience.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.
