Overview
The Plant Maintenance Mechanic position involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing various types of equipment throughout the plant. Martin Marietta is a leading supplier of heavy building materials, dedicated to providing foundational resources for communities.
Responsibilities
- Perform plant maintenance duties as directed using established procedures.
- Observe equipment for safety hazards or functionality.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and create a maintenance or repair plan.
- Repair straightforward equipment issues under direct supervision.
- Take on other tasks and assignments as required to support team operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ year related experience.
- Knowledge of equipment analysis and general repair concepts.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Good time management skills.
