Overview

GEORG is a medium-sized, family-run high-tech company headquartered in Germany, specializing in coil processing and machine tool building, with a focus on providing sustainable solutions for various industries. The company is looking for Industrial Field Service Engineers to join their team in North America, requiring significant travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation, commissioning, and service of machines and automation systems.
• Assist with the expansion and adaptation to the Siemens control system and various mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components.
• Commission systems and test all functions.
• Handle acceptance and handover of machines to customers, including operator training and production support.
• Integrate and test new software modules for machine applications.
• Perform maintenance and service on existing machines.

Requirements

• Expertise in industrial equipment installation, commissioning, and service.
• Experience with machinery and equipment in the Metals Industry or related lines.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.
• High level of commitment, flexibility, and mobility.
• Effective written and oral communication skills; German language skills are a plus.

Additional Information

• Position requires 70-90% travel to various project sites.
• Locations include Roanoke, VA and Alpharetta, GA.
