Responsibilities

  • Weld parts and sub-assemblies to specification using various welding processes.
  • Adjust voltage, heat, pressure, and speed to maintain quality.
  • Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Utilize manufacturing tools to record data and keep records for quality and maintenance.
  • Check results for conformance to specifications and make necessary corrections.
  • Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
  • Use various types of tools and equipment to perform work, including CNC/robotic welding equipment and manual arc welders.
  • Lubricate, check, and clean work equipment and tooling.
  • Assist and support other team members.
  • Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
  • Must have a weld certification (or equivalent) or at least 6 months of experience welding in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift.
  • Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime, including weekends.
  • At least 2 years of experience welding parts and sub-assemblies in a manufacturing environment using MIG welding on stainless steel applications.
