Overview

A Combo Welder will weld, fabricate and assist pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, and ironworks in the installation of varying types of equipment and supports for industrial pipe, structural, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Weld and fabricate various types of equipment and supports.
  • Assist pipe fitters, electricians, millwrights, and ironworks.
  • Work with industrial pipe, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Requirements

  • Must successfully pass a weld test.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Must have 4+ years of welding experience on industrial size and grade equipment.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of various metals and welding processes.
  • Must have experience welding multiple types of materials including carbon steel, Fluxcore, stainless, aluminum, and chrome.
  • Must be able and willing to assist with other activities while not actively welding.
  • Must be able to work at heights as required.
  • Must meet all physical demands.
