Responsibilities

  • Improve welding productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Adapt to a changing work environment and manage competing demands.
  • Administer safety and training programs for all department employees.
  • Communicate information clearly and directly to co-workers and supervisors.
  • Identify, organize, estimate, and recognize differences or similarities with attention to detail.
  • Stand and work in adverse conditions for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Use simple measuring instruments like tape measures and calipers.
  • Perform extensive walking, bending, stooping, and moderate to heavy lifting.
  • Manually operate multiple levers and knobs associated with machines or equipment.
