Overview

Loenbro, LLC is seeking experienced Welders to join their Chandler Fab Shop team. The role involves planning, laying out, welding, installing, evaluating, and repairing steel structures, emphasizing a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications.
  • Plan, lay-out, install and/or repair all types of pipe in accordance with those plans and specifications.
  • Perform FCAW / MGAW welding.
  • Utilize structural welding and fitting experience.
  • Work with Flux Core Wire and Grade A36 - A572 Steel.
  • Choose appropriate filler metals and construction materials for assignments.
  • Observe functioning of installed equipment to determine hazards and need for adjustments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of welding principles experience.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Ability to pass a Structural Welding test.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Welding experience in fabrication shop, construction, mining or related industry.
  • Working knowledge of various welding codes and specifications.
  • Familiarity with properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
