Overview

AT&F is a major producer of components for various industries, including defense and shipbuilding, and is looking for a TIG Welder in Cleveland to build complex fabrications for submarines. The company offers a supportive team environment and competitive benefits starting on the first day.

Responsibilities

  • TIG welding and fabricating on custom parts
  • TIG welding of stainless steels, C-276, Inconel 600 series
  • ASME Code welding and Military Specifications
  • Reading and interpreting custom blueprints and drawings from customers
  • Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy-fuel & hand plasma)
  • Following lean principles as well as safety and quality standards
  • Performing general welding and shop duties as needed

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in TIG welding
  • Desire to constantly improve welding abilities
  • Desire and ability to use shop math
  • Ability to read and understand job instructions
  • Experience in GTAW, FCAW and GMAW Spray Transfer
  • Experience in pipefitting
  • Experience in welding of carbon, stainless, or nickel based alloys
  • Strong overall mechanical aptitude
  • HS diploma or equivalent

What you'll be running
