Overview
Hadrian is building autonomous factories to revolutionize aerospace and defense manufacturing, making it faster and cheaper. The Factory Technician role is an entry-level position that provides on-the-job training across various stations in the factory, ideal for those passionate about manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Receive and transact raw metal; cut to size using an automated bandsaw and basic metrology tools.
- Assemble and dis-assemble machine tools, work with pre-setters and ensure the correct angles and measurements.
- Use different machines and techniques to serialize machined parts.
- Send out parts and manage visual inspection of parts back from outside processing.
- Employ manual techniques to perform small modifications on parts to fit customer requirements.
Requirements
- Willingness to learn precision inspection techniques and follow rigid training procedures.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods.
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift objects up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Experience with hand tools or pneumatic tools is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
