Overview

Client is currently seeking Electrical/Wire Harness Assembly Technicians in Mesa, AZ. The role involves fabricating, assembling, modifying, repairing, and testing wire harnesses and electrical assemblies while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, modify, repair, and test wire harnesses and electrical assemblies.
  • Utilize the Client Quality management system to document nonconforming parts and processes.
  • Work with engineering, material management, and quality teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Construct wire harnesses and panels using various methods and tools.
  • Ensure all assemblies are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and non-conformance issues.
  • Complete and maintain required training and certifications.
  • Maintain safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications, and instructions.
  • Apply basic mathematics in the role.
  • Train new employees in electrical harness fabrication.
  • Report on job status and constraints to coworkers and supervision.
  • Navigate computer systems for office and shop applications.
  • Demonstrate listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, and bending.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be available to work any shift as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience using a computer to look up and record information.
  • Experience using math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
