Overview

The Labor Pool Employee is a versatile role within the manufacturing facility, responsible for providing flexible support across various departments and functions as needed. This position entails performing diverse tasks to maintain smooth operations and meet production goals, requiring adaptability and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various tasks on the production floor such as assembly, machine operation, packaging, and quality control.
  • Operate machinery and equipment following safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to meet production goals.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Adhere to quality standards and conduct basic quality checks on products.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to work across different shifts or departments as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects up to 35 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Flexibility in work schedule and willingness to work overtime or different shifts as needed.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures regarding attendance, conduct, and workplace standards.

Additional Information

  • Candidates must be able to work any shift: 1st (6am-2pm), 2nd (2pm-10pm), 3rd (10pm-6am).
