Overview

Mondelēz International is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to operate and maintain equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role is crucial in enhancing line performance and contributing to the company's mission of leading the future of snacking.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment, or system following autonomous maintenance standards.
• Use technical skills to improve line and system performance.
• Execute all standard work processes on equipment using AM and PM standards.
• Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities are performed.
• Understand and report losses in the area and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 2-4 years of manufacturing experience as a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic or completion of an approved Apprenticeship Program.
• Working knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, machining of parts, some electrical knowledge, hand tool usage, and welding.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment with limited supervision.
• Ability to problem solve and provide practical solutions.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays as required.

• Experience with high-speed packaging lines and production equipment in food processing, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
