Overview

At Jacobs, the Pipe Stress Engineer will work on projects that enable the heart of clients’ businesses, focusing on state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities while ensuring technical quality and adherence to client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.
  • Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design.
  • Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
