TEAM, Inc. is a global leader in specialized Mechanical Services, committed to safety, innovation, and performance excellence. The company is seeking an experienced welding technician to lead and perform various welding activities in a safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety procedures and job documentation.
- Execute and lead Field Welding operations at client sites according to certification and company processes.
- Operate welding machines to fabricate metal products according to specifications.
- Read and interpret production schedules and specifications to plan tasks.
- Establish components for welding according to specifications.
- Perform testing and inspection of welded surfaces to discover flaws.
- Maintain welding equipment to meet safety standards.
- Complete documentation of welding activities.
- Attend required training to maintain and improve skills.
- Identify circumstances that necessitate the use of proper safety procedures.
- Document all Field Welder service activities as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Associate’s degree, vocational training, or relevant industry experience required.
- Three years of experience in welding.
- Ability to pass a standard Code Welder exam required.
- Ability to operate GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding equipment required.
- Ability to read engineering specifications is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driving License required.
- Possession of current TWIC card or ability to obtain one required.
