Overview

TEAM, Inc. is a global leader in specialized Mechanical Services, providing high-quality services to various industrial sectors. The company seeks an experienced and safety-focused Field Welder to lead welding activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation.
  • Execute and lead Field Welding operations at client sites according to certification and company procedures.
  • Operate welding machines to fabricate metal products according to client specifications.
  • Read and interpret production schedules and specifications to plan tasks.
  • Establish components for welding according to specifications.
  • Perform testing and inspection of welded surfaces to identify flaws.
  • Maintain welding equipment to meet safety standards.
  • Document all welding activities.
  • Attend required training to maintain and improve skills.
  • Identify circumstances requiring proper safety procedures and equipment.
  • Document all Field Welder service activities as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Associate’s degree, vocational training, or relevant industry experience required.
  • Three years of experience in welding.
  • Ability to pass a standard Code Welder exam required.
  • Ability to operate GTAW, SMAW, and GMAW welding equipment required.
  • Ability to read engineering specifications is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Driving License required.
  • Possession of current TWIC card or ability to obtain one required.

Additional Information

  • Position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site.
  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • May be required to travel out of town periodically.
