Overview

The Welder position at IES Infrastructure involves safely and efficiently using welding equipment to meet customer and quality requirements. The company emphasizes a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently use welding and shop equipment.
  • Load and position parts to fixtures to achieve correct dimensions.
  • Adjust weld equipment settings for proper weld quality.
  • Maintain safety standards and operate safety equipment.
  • Fluent in reading prints and other instructions.
  • Weld parts per print to meet customer and quality requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance as required and inform supervisor of possible problems.
  • Complete work order, quality data, and clerical functions as required.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation.

Requirements

  • Ability to read prints and instructions fluently.
  • Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in daily activities.
  • Must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
