Overview
The Electro-Mechanical Technician position at Kraft Heinz is a full-time role focused on preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. The technician will troubleshoot and repair production and facilities equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues and repair failures of production and facilities equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions.
- Work with production associates and management to solve production issues.
- Observe mechanical devices to locate causes of trouble.
- Assist with planning/scheduling and storeroom staff for CMMS tracking.
- Fabricate, disassemble, and assemble production equipment.
- Investigate electrical and instrument equipment failures.
- Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines using SAP Work Order system.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
- Weld and perform sheet metal work.
- Install, move, and relocate machinery according to blueprints.
- Read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Adhere to safety and environmental policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with Millwright certification or completed Millwright apprenticeship.
- 3-5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
- Minimum of two years of experience in repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
- Experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix Processors and RSLogix 5000.
- Technical knowledge in DCS/PLC control systems and high voltage equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
- Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

- 3rd shift available from 11PM to 7:30AM, Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday.
