Overview

At Blue Origin, we are developing reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems to enable millions of people to live and work in space for the benefit of Earth. We are seeking Vacuum Jacketed Line Pipe Welders to fabricate and weld hardware for various spaceflight systems, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld hardware for spaceflight systems using TIG welding techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering to implement and refine manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity in all operations.
  • Follow detailed technical instructions and communicate effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of GTAW welding experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of experience in stainless steel cryogenic installations.
  • 5+ years of experience welding materials such as stainless, Inconel, or Monel.
  • Ability to use large cutting saws, punches, formers, brakes, and standard hand tools.
  • Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% supporting vendor and Blue Origin test facilities.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.

Additional Information

  • Multiple positions available across levels.
  • Travel expected up to 20% of the time.
  • Shifts available: A Shift (Mon-Thu 5:00am - 3:30pm), B Shift (Mon-Thu 3:00pm - 1:30am), C Shift (Fri-Sun 5:00am - 5:30pm), D Shift (Fri-Sun 5:00pm - 5:30am).
  • Interviews will include a technical welding assessment.
