Responsibilities

  • Provide aircraft sheet metal fabrication, disassembly, and reassembly tasks using maintenance tools and test equipment.
  • Repair sheet metal and composite structures.
  • Diagnose and repair aircraft components.
  • Prepare and apply various aircraft finishes.
  • Read blueprints and interpret complex technical diagrams.
  • Trim parts as required.
  • Maintain system components.
  • Verify cable tension.
  • Assess damage and corrosion of aircraft structures.
  • Repair, replace, and modify sheet metal and composite structures.
  • Operate aircraft towing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and systems.
  • Operate and service ground support equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with airworthiness standards and company policies.
  • Inspect and certify replacement parts prior to installation.
  • Tag and route removed parts to quarantine.
  • Complete and certify work reports for all work accomplished.
  • Follow safe work practices as per the maintenance control manual.
  • Carry out line and heavy maintenance activities.
  • Perform Independent Checks when authorized.
  • Report hazards or potential safety risks to a supervisor.

Requirements

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) license or equivalent experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years overall aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Proven track record of success on complex assignments.
  • Ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Information

  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid Green Card.
  • Domestic and International Travel may be required.
