Overview

Universal Technical Institute is seeking an experienced Welder to become a Welding Instructor. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and educate the next generation of welders while providing hands-on training in robotics and automation technology.

Responsibilities

  • Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment for students.
  • Provide practical demonstrations for real-world experience.
  • Collaborate with the education team to enhance and develop courses.
  • Guide and mentor students on their individual projects.
  • Instill the importance of safety procedures and best practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 years of practical work experience in welding.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding processes.
  • Proficiency in oxy-acetylene torch work, plasma cutting, and brazing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach to teaching.

Additional Information

  • Weekends OFF
