Overview

Maverick Power is a rapidly expanding company recognized for its innovation in power distribution solutions. The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that power distribution assemblies meet engineering and quality standards, contributing to the company's commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections to verify assemblies meet electrical schematics, BOMs, and mechanical requirements.
  • Conduct torque audits using calibrated tools and verify hardware type, grade, and washer usage per engineering drawings.
  • Execute final visual inspections and perform Hi-Pot / dielectric testing prior to energization.
  • Complete inspection records accurately, document nonconformances, and support rework verification of defective material.
  • Identify, contain, and escalate abnormal or unsafe conditions by stopping shipment and coordinating re-inspection.
  • Crosstrain in additional QC/QA functions to support operational needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or technical certification.
  • Must be able to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing quality (electronics, defense, automotive, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of UL & NEC standards.
  • Basic computer/data entry/Excel skills.
  • Use of hand tools - torque wrench, multi-meter, inspection gauges, etc.
