Overview

At Magna, as a Rework Technician, you will be part of an innovative team focused on developing industry-leading automotive technologies. The role involves various responsibilities within the operations team, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing or replacing vehicle components
  • Routing harnesses and air hoses
  • Drilling
  • Documenting work and findings
  • Collaborating with quality, production and end of line testing teams

Requirements

  • Completed high school diploma or college degree preferred
  • Manufacturing experience in automotive preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office
  • Technical background and analytical skills would be an asset
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in the automotive industry of 5-7 years
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and work instructions
  • Ability to work under vehicles on hoist
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
