Overview

Signode is a leading manufacturer of transit packaging solutions with over $2B in revenue and 80+ manufacturing facilities worldwide. The Engineering Technician role involves supporting engineering and operations in development projects, including machinery assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering/operations in development and application projects.
• Assemble and break down automated machinery.
• Conduct tests on development projects and record relevant data.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform necessary repairs on electrical and mechanical components.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with external customers globally.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience in development or technical support of industrial equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Additional Information

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm with some overtime.
• Travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
