Overview

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Cudahy, CA, to perform cylinder maintenance and facility upkeep while contributing to a strong safety culture. The role involves operating a forklift and ensuring efficient processes in cylinder testing and repair.

Responsibilities

• Repair leaks, inspect, and dispose of defective cylinders.
• Paint cylinders as needed.
• Operate a forklift to move products throughout the facility.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and basic facility maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Gas industry and cylinder maintenance experience is preferred.
• Proficient in mechanical operations or skilled in mechanical tasks.
• Knowledge of equipment such as hydrostatic and ultrasonic testers.
• Ability to push, pull, move and/or lift 40-70 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work overtime is required.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates personal ownership for safety.
