Overview

The Level II NDE Technician will perform Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection services, ensuring safety and quality standards while working at client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nondestructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures and client specifications.
  • Accurately interpret, evaluate, and document test results using proper forms and digital systems.
  • Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding job scope, access, and results.
  • Maintain detailed and timely records including reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
  • Ensure proper radiation safety practices, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading.
  • Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
  • Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
  • Ability to provide relevant documentation for obtaining Team Level II Qualifications/Certifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies preferred.
  • API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or other advanced certifications preferred.
  • Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software preferred.
  • Prior experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.
