Overview

The Level II NDE Technician will perform Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection services, ensuring safety and quality standards while working at client sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform nondestructive testing using certified methods in accordance with TEAM procedures and client specifications.
- Accurately interpret, evaluate, and document test results using proper forms and digital systems.
- Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
- Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding job scope, access, and results.
- Maintain detailed and timely records including reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
- Ensure proper radiation safety practices, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading.
- Adhere to TEAM’s Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
- Uphold industry codes and TEAM’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening background check.
- Must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other site access credentials.
- Ability to provide relevant documentation for obtaining Team Level II Qualifications/Certifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments.
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
- Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies preferred.
- API 510/570/653, CWI, AMPP or other advanced certifications preferred.
- Radiation Safety Training / IRRSP or State Industrial Radiographer Card preferred.
- Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software preferred.
- Prior experience in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops preferred.
- Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications preferred.
