Overview

Pennoni is an ENR Top 500 consulting engineering firm seeking AWS Certified Welding Inspectors for off-site fabrication shops across the USA, focusing on bridge and highway products for transportation agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials.
  • Monitor work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications.
  • Communicate and meet with fabricators, clients, and engineers.
  • Produce daily written shop reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High School.
  • Minimum years of experience: 3.
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work well independently and with others.
  • Reliable transportation required.
