Overview

We are currently seeking a Welder with TIG welding and fabrication experience to work in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The preferred candidate will have familiarity with various weld processes and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Certify to AWS D17.1 for Groups IIB, IIIB, IV and VI.
  • Work with material thickness from .020” to .200” in all groups.
  • Ensure top quality workmanship and efficiency.
  • Meet quality standards for manufactured products and goods.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
  • Initiate and control paperwork associated with welding jobs.
  • Follow direct orders from the supervisor to meet shipment commitments.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a welding role or equivalent training and experience.
  • Knowledge of general workshop tools, equipment, and materials related to welding and aerospace.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings to military and aerospace specifications.
