Job Description

Overview

Oldcastle Infrastructure™, a CRH company, is a leading provider of utility infrastructure solutions for the water, energy, and communications markets throughout North America. The ideal candidate will fabricate steel molds for concrete using hand and power tools, welding operations, and lifting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate steel from parts using various cutting equipment and weld parts together per specifications.
  • Complete vertical and horizontal arc and MIG welding.
  • Use oxygen and fuel torches to cut steel.
  • Utilize industrial steel tools such as vertical band saw, drill press, grinders, etc.

Requirements

  • At least one year of experience in steel fabrication.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
  • Ability to read shop prints.
  • Understanding of basic use of hand and power tools.
  • Maintenance experience preferred.
