Job Description

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
  • Utilize technical support resources for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
  • Advise supervisors of situations impacting customer relationships.
  • Provide accurate information on required documents.
  • Demonstrate Altec Company Values.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, state-approved High School Equivalency, or GED.
  • Experience with aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes, or heavy equipment.
  • Previous experience as a mechanic or technician focused on heavy equipment.
  • Education in mechanics, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Physical ability to move objects and tools weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • High level of dexterity.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
