Job Description

Overview

We are seeking experienced heavy industrial welders/fabricators to support the fabrication and repair of large mining components at Komatsu. This hands-on position requires precision, quality, and adherence to OEM specifications in a high-standard mechanical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform required duties safely at all times
  • Work overtime including weekends, up to 70 hours a week
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Read and interpret structural and engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Prep materials and components for fabrication and welding
  • Fabricate and weld large mining components, including repairs of dippers/buckets
  • Weld a 332 wire
  • Occasionally travel to mine sites to support field work, approximately 25% of the time
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

Requirements

  • Able to work nights
  • MSHA Certification a Plus
  • Clean background check
  • Able to pass respirator fit test
  • Able to pass 3G and 4G weld test
