Overview

The Mechanic/Welder position at CVRF involves supporting the Community Service Center through aluminum boat repairs, customization, small engine repair, and fabrication projects. The role includes interacting with the public and managing shop and bunk rentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum boat welding repairs, customizations, and fabrications.
• Interact with the public for service requests, provide estimated costs, perform repairs, and collect fees.
• Facilitate shop and bunk room rentals, including fee collection and waiver verification.
• Complete work orders for services and rentals, forward to the Corporate office, and file on-site.
• Maintain technical knowledge, attend educational workshops, and review technical publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Previous welding and fabrication experience is necessary.
• Certification in welding is a plus.
• Ability to represent the company professionally in verbal and written communication.
• Must pass background and reference checks.
