Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | Onsite

Pay: $24.00-$32.00/hour

We're hiring experienced Welder II and Welder III professionals to join a growing manufacturing team in Virginia Beach. This is a hands-on fabrication role working on large steel components in a production environment. If you have experience with MIG or TIG welding and enjoy building high-quality products, we'd like to speak with you.

What You'll Do

Perform MIG, TIG, wire, spot, and oxy/acetylene welding. Fabricate and assemble structural components including frames, I-beams, fuel tanks, and other welded assemblies. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Set up materials and equipment for fabrication, assembly, and repairs. Use grinders, sanders, and other hand tools to finish welds and prepare materials. Inspect completed welds and perform repairs or rework as needed. Assist with pressure testing, quality inspections, and final product verification. Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Experience with MIG welding required; TIG experience is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings. Strong measuring, layout, and basic math skills. Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing quality work. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Vocational welding training preferred. MIG welding certification preferred. TIG certification is a plus.
