Overview

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials, operating over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. They are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Welder to join their aggregates operations team, responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mobile equipment to support safe and efficient plant production.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on loaders, haul trucks, conveyors, crushers, and other aggregate processing equipment.
• Inspect equipment and structures to identify wear, damage, and opportunities for preventative maintenance.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to complete repairs accurately.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
• Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and environmental requirements while performing maintenance activities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to perform structural welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment repairs in an industrial or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical and structural issues.
• Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication tools, equipment, and related machinery.
• Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and perform physically demanding tasks.
