Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic - IWP is responsible for rebuilding and maintaining mechanical equipment such as centrifuges, pumps, and mixers, while also operating centrifuge technology and ensuring health and safety protocols. This position involves traveling to customer sites 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and acting safely.
  • Assist or perform mechanical tasks on job site construction.
  • Rebuild centrifuges, pumps, augers, mixers, and other mechanical equipment.
  • Clean and test centrifuges, pumps, augers, mixers, and electrical controls.
  • Maintain site process equipment.
  • Record and report service reports for work performed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 2 years millwright or mechanical experience
  • TWIC Card
  • Forklift Certification
  • Basic Plus Safety Training
  • OSHA Hazardous Material training a plus
  • NFPA 70E Training a plus
  • Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required.

  • This job operates in both inside garage, shop or gas plant conditions as well as outside conditions.
