Job Description

Overview

Ontic is a leading global aerospace OEM specializing in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. The Assembler- Soldering III role involves assembling, soldering, inspecting, testing, and repairing complex aerospace products while supporting continuous improvement and mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision mechanical assembly and hand soldering of complex aerospace assemblies, subassemblies, wiring, connectors, and electronic components.
  • Assemble, install, align, inspect, and verify mechanical and electro-mechanical components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Conduct in-process inspections, functional verification, basic testing, and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate production, quality, inspection, and test documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to assembly methods and product quality.
  • Provide technical leadership by mentoring assemblers and collaborating with Engineering and Quality.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical or vocational training in electronics, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to perform with minimum supervision and directions.
