Overview

The Senior Trailer Technician position in Wilmer, TX involves performing major and minor repairs on company trailers, intermodal chassis, and containers. The role requires technical expertise in welding and electrical systems, along with effective communication with internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Repair or replace components on company trailers, chassis and containers.
  • Perform repairs on major accident damage, some requiring welding.
  • Diagnose and repair all issues involving trailer electrical systems.
  • Communicate status updates with internal customers.

Requirements

  • Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience.
  • Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment.
  • Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
