Overview

Pumps and Controls is a wholesale water treatment equipment supplier based in Arlington, Texas, committed to exceptional customer service and fast lead times. The Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing faulty equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair faulty equipment or devices.
  • Disassemble units and replace, adjust, or repair parts.
  • Document work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and parts used.
  • Communicate with customers or internal teams about repair status and recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with new products and repair techniques.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (if applicable).
