Overview

Pumps and Controls is a wholesale water treatment equipment supplier based in Arlington, Texas, dedicated to customer service and providing high-quality products. The Production Assembler 1 role involves assembling water treatment systems and collaborating with various teams to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble water treatment systems according to drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Cut, prepare, and solvent weld PVC piping and fittings.
  • Install piping, tubing, valves, pumps, instrumentation, and electrical components.
  • Perform testing, inspections, and basic troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality teams to meet production schedules.

Requirements

  • Experience using common hand and power tools.
  • Ability to make accurate measurements and precise cuts using saws and other fabrication tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, professional products.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret assembly drawings and instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking direction from supervisors.
  • Self-motivated with the initiative to identify and complete tasks independently.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and focused on quality workmanship.
