Overview

The Welder at Weir ESCO will be responsible for heavy fabrication and repair work on large mining buckets and related industrial equipment, emphasizing safety, precision, and durability. Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on large scale mining buckets and heavy equipment components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Operate heavy-duty fabrication tools including grinders, torches, and plasma cutters.
  • Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications as determined by blueprints.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm behaviors in support of a world class safety culture.

Requirements

  • Ability to use and run an air arc.
  • Must pass a welding test to be considered for hire.
