Overview

The Tiffany & Co. Experienced Jeweler is a skilled professional in jewelry and stone work, capable of executing complex tasks with a deep understanding of materials and techniques. This role involves assisting in training new jewelers, ensuring safety compliance, and providing high-quality craftsmanship for both client-owned and new merchandise.

Responsibilities

  • Execute technical skills within the jewelry work scope with high quality and proficiency.
  • Become a go-to Jeweler for high jewelry stone setting, particularly with center and colored stones.
  • Assist the Lead Jeweler in technical development and onboarding of new jewelers.
  • Perform complex engineering projects related to high jewelry items and high-value pieces.
  • Design, fabricate, and complete various jewelry modifications and repairs.
  • Support high jewelry events and interact with clients as needed.
  • Complete all craft work according to Tiffany quality and design standards.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and manage assigned orders effectively.
  • Develop the technical skills of new hires and collaborate with coworkers.
  • Provide technical support for events and new sale alterations.

Requirements

  • Diamond and colored-stone setting experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Soldering experience.
  • Laser welding experience.
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Fluent English language skills - Reading, Writing, Verbal.
  • Ability to shift tasks quickly to meet daily business needs.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work without constant direction.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and provide resolution for areas of improvement.
  • Ability to inspire trust, fairness, integrity, and professionalism.
