Overview

RISA Management Corp. is a Minority & Women Owned Business Enterprise specializing in architectural, miscellaneous, and ornamental metals fabrication and installation in the New York Metropolitan Area. The Tig Welder/Fabricator will perform precision TIG welding and fabrication of metal components, ensuring high-quality finished products for various projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision TIG welding and fabrication of architectural, miscellaneous, and ornamental metal components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately.
  • Fit and assemble metal parts.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications and company standards.
  • Work with a variety of fabrication tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and installation requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong TIG welding experience with stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel.
  • Proficiency in metal fabrication techniques such as cutting, grinding, forming, fitting, and assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of shop tools and equipment and their proper maintenance and safe operation.
  • Understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in architectural or ornamental metal fabrication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications or technical training in welding/fabrication are preferred.
