Overview

National Ramp manufactures accessibility ramp solutions that help elderly and disabled people regain mobility and independence. The Welder plays an important part in producing high-quality components and supporting steady production through close collaboration with the broader manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on ramp components to specification.
  • Read blueprints and fabrication drawings to assemble welded metal structures accurately.
  • Inspect weld quality and correct defects to meet safety and quality standards.
  • Operate welding and cutting equipment while following all shop safety procedures.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output and manufacturing deadlines.

Requirements

  • Completion of a welding program.
  • 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Ability to read blueprints accurately and use measuring tools with precision.
  • Knowledge of welding safety standards and proper use of protective equipment.
  • Able to lift materials and stand for extended periods during production shifts.
  • Availability to work first or second shift.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
