Overview

We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator with welding knowledge to join our team. The position involves welding metal parts, performing related tasks, and repairing broken components in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welds metal parts together
  • Performs related tasks such as sizing and grinding
  • Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in operation of equipment such as MIG welder, drill press, horizontal band saw, portable band saw, abrasive band saw, angle grinder, roller bender, tap and die
  • Experience in mechanics is a plus
  • Must have a clean valid driver license
  • Must be able to work outside in cold and hot temperatures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be honest and trustworthy
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Additional Information

  • Full-Time Position -- Monday to Friday with every other Saturday
  • Work time is Monday through Friday along with some Saturdays
  • Great location near G/7 train
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Queens NY 11101 is required
