Overview

Triosim Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Repair Welder to join their Pump Division, responsible for structural welding and refurbishment of large-scale industrial vacuum equipment, particularly liquid ring vacuum pumps. The role requires collaboration with machinists and technicians to restore complex pumps to original specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural welding, buildup, and repair on worn or damaged industrial vacuum pump components.
  • Execute precision hard-facing and corrosion-resistant stainless-steel cladding on high-wear cast iron pump surfaces.
  • Demonstrate master-level competency utilizing GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW welding processes on varied metals.
  • Set up, align, clamp, and tack-weld complex mechanical assemblies using precision layout tools.
  • Accurately read and interpret mechanical blueprints and engineered drawings.
  • Visually inspect, test, and verify completed weld profiles for integrity.
  • Utilize plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, and heavy industrial saws for dismantling components.
  • Strictly follow all safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience as an industrial welder.
  • Demonstrated expertise welding difficult or contaminated base metals.
  • Proficient in using heavy industrial hand tools and mechanical rigging equipment.
  • Valid AWS or ASME code welding certifications are highly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to structural detail and ability to hold consistent weld dimensions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of standing, bending, crouching, and maintaining overhead welding positions.
