Overview

Maverick Power is a rapidly expanding company recognized for its innovative power distribution solutions, committed to quality and customer satisfaction. The Field Service Technician role is crucial for maintaining high standards in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for equipment installation, start-up, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to address quality and warranty concerns.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and service manuals.
  • Complete field technical reports and update safety documents.
  • Work with service management and engineering to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
  • Interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Utilize electrical test equipment for diagnosis and repair of equipment.
  • Assist engineering staff in developing technical documentation.
  • Use mechanical skills to install and repair electro-mechanical components.
  • Support service sales efforts by interfacing with engineering and manufacturing.

Requirements

  • 2-Year Technical Degree and minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays when required.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be insured.
